First time making pretzels, not the last. I followed the recipe to the point, but i felt the dough was way too sticky, so i increased the flour by 1/2 cup and it turned out great. I used Bread Flour for a chewier pretzel but you can use All Purpose Flour, you’ll get a doughier pretzel. Its a preference.

Very simple and very basic dough recipe for a mankoushe (Lebanese flat bread). The secret is in the olive oil honestly, be generous with it. You can top it with anything that you want.Jump to Recipe
For a regular manoushe substitute the wholewheat flour with bread flour or if not available then AP flour.
For a saj manoushe, the trick is to get any deep pa, flip it on the stove and heat it well. Stretch your dough as thin as you can before putting it on your makeshift saj
