I’ve always loved a good banana bread with chocolate chips! This time I decided to make a healthy version to have for breakfast with my coffee 🙂
Thankfully i had some super ripe bananas in my kitchen, so i looked for a recipe online and tweaked it a bit!
Check it out!
My first tart, ever!! I was at the grocery store where I buy all my vegetables and fruits and was really intrigued by the imported zucchinis. One was yellow and the other green. So, of course, being a hoarder, i decided to buy one of each.
Came back home and googled some recipes. Found this recipe for a delicious, and I really mean DELICIOUS, restaurant quality, tart.
Check out the recipe below and ENJOY
When I think about comfort food, it’s never lasagna, or pizza, or a burger. These are my indulgence meals. Comfort food to me is home cooked Lebanese food, whether it be stews (Yakhnat) or stews in oil (Bi Zeit), i absolutely LOVE them and can live on them. They are super healthy and nutritious!
Back from our summer vacation, and back to fully focusing on Mrs.Clueless!
I had gotten a recipe book (Comfort Food) before we left for our vacation and I didn’t have the chance to try anything from it! So yesterday night while we were watching Narcos Season 2, which by the way is SO GOOD, i decided to open up the book and make something for dinner.
This roast caught my attention because, well, i have a chicken in my freezer, and it seemed moderately hard.
Who doesn’t love a delicious, warm, fragrant chicken soup on any day?! It was my first time trying out my grandma’s chicken soup recipe, and i must admit i nailed it 🙂
Got an entire organic chicken, deboned it (probably not the correct way, you can watch the video here), made chicken stock, and chicken soup! Feeling super accomplished right now hahaha
I always get discouraged when I make chocolate chip cookies, they either come out too hard, too soft, or just lame tasting.
Found this info graphic with a simple recipe which i tried out and they are just AMAZING to the point where I used them to make an ice cream sandwich!
After spending the last few days experimenting with fondant, colours, and ugly cakes, i had the urge to make something simple, rustic, and just plain DELICIOUS. I have these amazing peaches which give off an intense aroma every time the fridge is opened so i decided to make a peachy dessert!
Lebanon’s summer comes with excess heat and humidity, and the fact that i ate the equivalent of my weight in NYC means I can’t just cool off with ice cream all the time :/
So, i decided to make my own popsicles! I substituted the sugar with honey but for a yummier taste just go for the sugar!
I think you all have come to the conclusion that I am OBSESSED with lemons. Lemons in my salad, my chicken, my fries, my fish, even in my dishwashing soap. Can’t live without my lemons.
So last night, i decided to make a final cake in the kitchen before it is completely renovated this week! ( Currently an owner of an empty kitchen)
I wasn’t really feeling anything with cream or chocolate so i went for a lemon cake!
FINALLY on my blog again! Sorry for disappearing for two weeks but i was moving houses.
I’m finally settled into my new house and i am LOVING it!
I’m sharing with you today after lots of requests, my three layered chocolate cake recipe!
