I literally grew up with these cookies around the house alllll the time. Stumbled upon my grandma’s old recipe booklet and tried to decipher the recipe. Made some mistakes but they turned out fabulous. Here’s the original recipe with my grandma’s corrections.
I’m really not a doughnut person, but these are perfect. Not too sweet and super fluffy! Plus they don’t take forever to make. You will LOVE them.
When I saw Dania making these kaak i knew i had to try them. These are my favourite, filled with cheese, zaatar, Picon, or just plain. They’re incredibly easy to make and taste just like the real deal. Minus the pollution if you’re buying them off a street vendor.
A delicious and super easy dessert or breakfast/brunch idea. You can serve it with honey, maple syrup, caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, or just plain cinnamon sugar.
Our go to crepes recipe at home! Works with both savoury and sweet fillings.
I crave these, constantly. I’m still trying to get my way with them but thought I would share what has worked with me so far.
Basic, delicious, one bowl orange loaf cake. You can totally omit the cream cheese frosting, but it tastes delicious with it and doesn’t make it too sweet.
If you know, you know. If you don’t know, make them, you’ll know.
These are EPIC.
For a non sourdough recipe, be patient with me. Will post one soon. If you want to venture into sourdough baking, try getting yourself started with a starter. It’s worth it.
My husband’s favourite. It’s such a comforting and hearty soup.
