Feels good to be writing a recipe post again! I’ve been so busy with my online shop that i haven’t had the time to write up any new recipes!
Today i’m going to share with you a dish i made last week and got so many requests for the recipe. Chicken Katsu, a Japanese version of breaded chicken with a side of edamame vegetable noodles.

This is probably one of the yummiest, fastest, and easiest pasta recipes. It is literally so good, and an awesome dish if you are hosting!
It is done in one pot and really does not take more than 30 minutes.
I absolutely love shrimps, shrimp everything actually, and with this recipe you can really feel a burst of shrimp flavour in every bite. The shrimps are tossed in a buttery garlic chilli sauce and the lemon just brings all these amazing flavours together!
So, after many requests here is the recipe!
This is LEGIT the best dessert you can make. It is easy, takes literally less than 30 min to prepare, tastes like the REAL DEAL fancy tiramisu, but in fact, it has a little cheat to it 😀
I love preparing this dessert for when we have guests because not only does it taste amazing, if you layer it into a cake it looks fabulous too!

Sorry about that, but i have been sooooo preoccupied with so many things that at the end of the day i just want to eat the cake, and not write how it’s made.
But, as i promised so many of you, i will finally give you the recipe for what i consider is THE ULTIMATE white cake! ( NO JOKE)
This cake is perfect for using in a bundt, for making a layered cake, for eating in abundance, and for basically just admiring.
Hola! I’ve been chaotically busy this month, so i kind of slacked on writing a new blog post…
So many exciting things have been happening with Mrs.Clueless and I am so very thankful for everyone’s constant love and support! Not only has my knowledge in the kitchen improved, but I get to meet amazing people everyday that share the same passion that i have.
So, to get to the point here. WHO DOES NOT LOVE DOUGHNUTS?
Well, me. I hate fried doughnuts, they always make me feel sick to my stomach. Also, I failed at making fried doughnuts once because i have no patience whatsoever. So i decided to venture into making baked ones.
I can’t describe how good they taste, and how light and fluffy they are!

Thanksgiving is in a couple of days and lets be real, we don’t really celebrate it in Lebanon, like at all. Which is sad because who would miss a chance at a homemade Turkey? Like, why wait till its Christmas?!
This year, since I oddly enough turned into Mrs.Clueless, someone that would rather spend 3/4 of her day in the kitchen than do anything else, I decided to throw a Friendsgiving dinner a week before the actual holiday so that I can share with you some of my favourite Thanksgiving recipes.
I have to admit, the idea was thrilling at first but as the day got closer and the turkey was between my hands i panicked. Not because i never had cooked a bird thats bigger than my pet dog, but because i had SO MANY other dishes to make that accompany the Turkey.
Thanks to the extensive researching, I managed to pull it off quite well! So proud of myself *happy dance*.
Below i will be listing the turkey recipe that I made. I took the steps from various online platforms and added my own touch, as well as my apple pie and salad recipe.

When planning a Thanksgiving dinner, do NOT miss out on including a pecan pie.
I’ve had many pecan pies before but i had never actually made one of my own. And since this year i’ve been doing a lot of “first timers”, why not!
After researching a few recipes online, and figuring out who sells corn syrup in Beirut, i finally decided to try out Sally’s Baking Addiction’s Recipe. It really is such a simple recipe and tastes just like the one I used to have.
The crust of this pie is another story. Made with butter and shortening, this crust is buttery, flakey, and has the exact texture you would imagine a pecan pie to have.
Thanksgiving is in exactly 2 weeks , and if you don’t celebrate it (like everyone in Lebanon, because its an American holiday), well, you should, because you are MISSING OUT ON GOOD FOOD.

So, I had a bunch of Pecans, and I couldn’t find any corn syrup (not easily available in Beirut) to make my first Pecan pie. Off to the internet and there it was, a beautiful chocolate chip pecan cookie. It looked SO GOOD.

I feel like I haven’t been able to post as much as I would like to this past week! For starts, my furniture is slowly arriving (6 months later) and I finally get to open all my things that have been sitting upstairs in boxes since June.
Also, so many exciting things are happening in regards to my blog which I will be able to share with you when the right time comes!

This week was one of the most chaotic weeks of my LIFE. I had so many projects and so many recipes to deliver in such a SHORT timeframe. But i did it! Didn’t think i’d be able to complete all these tasks but i did!! And i’m SO PROUD of myself 😀

On another note, my aunt has an awesome stuffed pumpkin recipe, and i’ve always been intimidated to try it out. So after i finished from all my project shoots I decided to stuff my little pumpkin 🙂
