Sorry I haven’t been posting much here but I have been SO BUSY with Mrs.Clueless, which is an amazing thing of course!
Yesterday I woke up feeling a bit under the weather so I decided to stay at home. Of course, I can not sit and do nothing so I ventured into giving a lemon poppy seed cake a try!
I adapted the recipe from The Cake Blog and shifted it around a bit!
I’ve always loved a good banana bread with chocolate chips! This time I decided to make a healthy version to have for breakfast with my coffee 🙂
Thankfully i had some super ripe bananas in my kitchen, so i looked for a recipe online and tweaked it a bit!

My first tart, ever!! I was at the grocery store where I buy all my vegetables and fruits and was really intrigued by the imported zucchinis. One was yellow and the other green. So, of course, being a hoarder, i decided to buy one of each.
Came back home and googled some recipes. Found this recipe for a delicious, and I really mean DELICIOUS, restaurant quality, tart.

After spending the last few days experimenting with fondant, colours, and ugly cakes, i had the urge to make something simple, rustic, and just plain DELICIOUS. I have these amazing peaches which give off an intense aroma every time the fridge is opened so i decided to make a peachy dessert!
Lebanon’s summer comes with excess heat and humidity, and the fact that i ate the equivalent of my weight in NYC means I can’t just cool off with ice cream all the time :/
So, i decided to make my own popsicles! I substituted the sugar with honey but for a yummier taste just go for the sugar!

Got back home, went straight to the kitchen to make my very first spaghetti bolognese.
